Return and Refund Policy

At Italian Charms France, we do our best to ensure your satisfaction. In accordance with applicable law for distance selling, you have a period of 14 days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide any justification, except for exceptions provided by law.

Please read the conditions below carefully.

1. Submitting a return request

To make a return, it is not necessary to contact customer service by email beforehand in standard cases.

You can directly submit your request through our Returns Center, accessible at the bottom of our website, under the section Help > Returns Center.

Simply then:

  • click on "Make a return";
  • fill in the requested information;
  • follow the indicated steps.

The request can be made in just a few moments.

Important: for your return to be processed quickly, you must correctly fill in the requested information, and in particular your order number.
In case of incomplete, incorrect, or missing information, we may not be able to identify your return immediately, which could lead to a significant delay in its processing and your refund.

2. Legal withdrawal period

You have 14 days from the receipt of your order to notify us of your decision to withdraw.

Once your withdrawal is exercised within this period, you then have an additional 14 days to send us the relevant items back.

3. Return eligibility conditions

To be eligible for a full refund, returned items must be:

  • returned in a condition that allows them to be resold;
  • unworn, not used beyond what is necessary to verify their nature and characteristics;
  • returned in their original packaging, with all items possibly received;
  • complete, clean, and properly protected for transport.

If the returned product shows depreciation resulting from handling other than what is necessary for simple verification, Italian Charms France reserves the right to apply a proportionate deduction from the refund, or even refuse the refund if the product is rendered unsaleable.

4. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

In accordance with the law, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for certain products, including:

  • personalized items, engraved or made to customer specifications;
  • gift cards;
  • more generally, any product excluded from the right of withdrawal by applicable legal provisions.

5. Return shipping costs

Unless it is our error, the product received is non-conforming, or the item has a proven defect upon receipt, return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

If a shipping solution or return label is offered through our Returns Center, its cost may, if applicable, be deducted from the refund if indicated at the time of the request.

In case of our error or confirmed defect, return shipping costs may be covered after verification.

Please note: all returns must be made as part of the procedure via our Returns Center.
A package returned without a properly registered return request, or without sufficient information to identify it, may lead to longer processing, or even make the return difficult to identify.

7. Refund

Once the package is received and inspected, we will inform you by email of the acceptance or refusal of your return.

In case of valid withdrawal, the refund will be issued via the payment method used for the purchase, as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days from the date we were informed of your decision to withdraw.

However, we may defer the refund until:

  • the actual receipt of the return, or
  • receipt of proof of shipment provided by the customer,
    the date retained being the first of these events.

The refund covers:

  • the price of the returned items;
  • as well as, if applicable, the initial standard shipping costs corresponding to the order concerned or the relevant part thereof, as applicable.

On the other hand:

  • return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer except for the exceptions mentioned above;
  • the supplement paid for an express or more expensive shipping method than standard delivery is not refunded;
  • any depreciation of the product may lead to a reduction in the refund.

8. Defective, non-conforming, or damaged product upon receipt

If you receive a defective, damaged, or non-conforming item, please contact us as soon as possible via our customer service, providing if possible:

  • your order number;
  • a description of the problem;
  • clear photos of the product concerned.

After verification, we may offer you, depending on the situation:

  • a replacement;
  • a store credit;
  • or a refund.

9. Items purchased on sale

Items purchased on sale may be returned under the same conditions as other items, unless they fall into a category legally excluded from the right of withdrawal (e.g., personalized item).
